Dear Colleagues and Friends,
After two years of online-only meetings, I am delighted to inform you that the 16th Annual Congress of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders, EAHAD 2023, will take place in Manchester and online from 7-10 February 2023.
On behalf of the EAHAD 2023 Organising Committee, I have the honour and great pleasure to invite you to this exciting event.
The objectives of EAHAD are to promote education, support research and improve the clinical care and lives of patients with inherited or acquired bleeding disorders. The annual Congress provides an opportunity to increase your knowledge, and better understand the most recent scientific advances, while also allowing you to present your latest findings and interact with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychosocial professionals and all other caregivers involved in our field.
The in-person venue for the Congress will be the Manchester Central Convention Complex, formerly the Manchester Central railway station. It is centrally located between the Bridgewater Hall and the Science and Industry Museum, and within walking distance of most hotels. Manchester International Airport, located 14km south of the city, has flights to 199 destinations.
The online component of the Annual Congress will once again be made possible by a cutting-edge virtual platform.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Manchester and online for what we are sure will be a memorable scientific experience!
Professor Mike Makris
EAHAD 2023 Congress President
